How soon can you start?

Usually within one to two weeks. In the middle of the busy season it can be three to four weeks, so it pays to get on our spring list early.

Do you repair fences and take small jobs?

Yes. We fix fences damaged by storms and wear, and a small job is a great job, from one gate or a repair to a full backyard. Some fences can be repaired and others are past it, and Carmen will tell you which one he would pick.

Choosing a fence

How do I choose the right fence?

Start with what you need: privacy, safety for kids and pets, a decorative look, or a practical budget option. Wood and vinyl give privacy, aluminum keeps your view, and chain link is the most practical. Tell us your goals and Carmen will help you choose.

What kind of wood do you use?

Top-grade cedar only. Cedar can be stained or painted to match your house.

Will an aluminum fence rust?

No. Aluminum doesn't rust and never needs painting. It's an open style that keeps your view, so for privacy, wood or vinyl is the better choice.

What chain link options do you have?

We install galvanized chain link, or black vinyl-coated chain link. Ask Carmen what fits your yard at your free estimate.

What fence works best around a pool?

Most towns require a barrier with a self-latching gate around a pool. Aluminum and vinyl are popular choices, but rules vary by town, so it's worth checking first.

Who decides where the fence goes on my property line?

You do, as the homeowner. The property line is the homeowner's responsibility, so know where yours is before the crew starts. Carmen asks you to be there at the start so you can walk the fence line together.

Do you help with HOA approval?

Yes. If your homeowners association has to approve the fence, we help with the paperwork.

Warranty, insurance and our crew

Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every fence we install comes with a 5-year labor warranty.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full insurance, and every job comes with a clear written contract that spells out exactly what you're getting.

Who does the work?

Our own crew, not subcontractors. Carmen stays involved from start to finish.

Do you take away the old fence?

Yes. We remove the old fence and haul it away.

Deposits and payment

Do you need a deposit?

Every job gets a written contract. The deposit is usually 30 to 50% depending on the job, and 50% for special-order fences.

Card, check, cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

Fence care

How do I take care of my fence?

Wood: re-stain or seal every few years, and keep plants trimmed back from the boards. Vinyl: rinse with a garden hose and mild soap; no painting or staining. Aluminum: wipe it down now and then and touch up scratches. Chain link: check for loose ties and clear vines so it stays tight. Gates: check latches and hinges each season and add a little lubricant if they stick.
